Gasolene Muscle Car Expo returns for 2014

Last year, the team behind Gasolene TV brought together a great lineup of iconic muscle machines for their first show, but this year's expo promises to be bigger and even better, with over 140 Australian and American muscle cars from the '60s and '70s to go on show.

 

There will be rare muscle cars from private collections, including a Dodge Charger Daytona, GTs and Toranas, as well as cars from the Mopar stable and rare muscle from Oldsmobile and other manufacturers. An exclusive 'Mad Max' collection, from the Mad Max museum in Silverton, and other iconic cars from the movies will also be on display.

 

In addition to the show cars, barn finds and survivor cars, this year's event will also feature special appearances by car racing legends, as well as trade stands and competitions.

 

To be held once again at the Royal Exhibition Building in Carlton, this year's Expo will run over three days, from Friday, May 30 to Sunday, June 1, with the doors opening at 2:00pm Friday.

 

Tickets, available at the door, start at only $10 for Children 5 - 15, $20 concession, $25 adults, with family tickets (2 adults - 2 children) only $60.
