Geelong Revival presents Shannons City Cruise
COVID may have forced the cancellation of the 2020 Geelong Revival Motoring Festival, but festival organisers are ensuring rubber will still meet the road in the Victorian city, with the creation of the Shannons Revival City Cruise that takes place this Saturday, 12 December.
While the city cruise has traditionally been a precursor to the Revival’s weekend of sprints, displays, drifting and other attractions, this year it’ll be a standalone event and organisers have spiced it up with a treasure hunt through the Geelong region.
The treasure hunt requires entrants to take a photo at each of the secret checkpoints and post it to the event’s Facebook page.
While drivers have their eyes on the road, passengers can keep track of what's going on across the event with a live-stream on YouTube. If you can’t participate, you can follow the cruise from home.
Entry to the Shannons Revival City Cruise is free for owners of classic, contemporary, custom and exotic cars and motorcycles, but pre-booking is essential.
The Shannons Revival City Cruise will be held on Saturday, 12 December, from 6:00PM.
