Generous gift for Kids Under Cover
Supported by JUST AUTO's Auto Trader brand, Donate Your Car has seen generous Australians gift more than two thousand cars gifted to the charity, which are then auctioned to raise vital funds to prevent youth homelessness around the country.
The Daimler shown was donated by Norman Webster of NSW, and is expected to raise a significant amount for Kids Under Cover when auctioned. The car is a 1964 model, finished in burgundy with a cream leather interior and walnut dash fascia. All chrome appears to be in good condition, and the car rolls on a set of Maglite-style alloy wheels. Overall, the car appears to be in exceptional condition.
Manheim auctions in Sydney have valued the rare classic Daimler in the $15-20,000 range. If it reaches that figure at the Manheim Sydney auction on April 1, the resulting funds would provide 200 months of mentoring for young people, or the equivalent of 17 year-long educational scholarships.
