Genuine Works Mini!
This LRX 828 E was built in 1967 and first campaigned by Rauno Aaltonen & Henry Liddon in that year's Acropolis Rally.
Following a chequered career in Europe, it came into BMC Australia's possession in late 1967 and was campaigned with some success by Evan Green and George Shepherd, before a ban on rallying in NSW at the end of the 1960s saw it sold to a Victorian BMC dealer. Famous rallying names like Paddy Hopkirk and Tony Fall have also spent time in this car.
The current owner purchased it in 1971 and restored it back to BMC Works appearance and colours.
