Historics hit Winton
Featuring 400+ historic racing racing cars and motorbikes, from the 1920s through to the 1980s, this year's 31st Historic Winton promises to yet again draw big crowds and a diverse selection of vehicles. This year, the focus is on machines as diverse as a recently restored Keift F1 car from the 1950s, the rediscovered "Brock 01" Austin 7 (which will make its first public appearance in running condition), classic Lago Talbot circuit cars, 60s tin-top sedans and plenty more.
Historic Fords will face off against Historic Holden touring cars in a race that is certain to be one of Sunday's highlights. If you're a fan of classic machinery - whether it's two wheels or four - Historic Winton is an event not to be missed. Entry is $15 for Saturday 26th, $25 for Sunday 27th, with children under 14 free for both days. For more details, visit www.historicwinton.org
