Iacocca Silver 45th Anniversary Edition Ford Mustang
Industry legend, Lee Iacocca, the man who first introduced the Ford Mustang, has unveiled his own 45th Silver Anniversary special edition of the famous pony car. Just 45 of the Silver Anniversary edition models will be built, all finished in a special silver chosen by Iacocca. The car has been two years in the making, being a collaborative effort by Iacocca, designer Michael Leone and California coach builders the Gaffoglio Family Metalcrafters.
The car began on the 2009 Mustang platform, but sits lower and features a completely redesigned front end with a slanted grille and recessed headlights. It has a fastback and 20-inch wheels, complete with a feature "I" in the middle of the centre caps. It is powered by a 4.6-litre supercharged V8 that produces 410kW. It has a Ford Racing Handling Package and 14-inch racing brakes, while inside luxurious touches include Iacocca signature dash, embroidery stitching, leather wrapped steering wheel and Iacocca badging.
