Slattery Auctions has secured a pair of highly desirable Lamborghinis for their ‘Ultimate Supercar Auction’ in Sydney. The two cars, a 2020 Aventador S and 2023 Huracan STO, are both fine examples of thoroughbred Italian performance, engineering and luxury.

2020 Lamborghini Aventador S

Powered by a 6.5-litre V12 producing 544kW, with 0-100km/h acceleration in 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 350km/h, the Aventador S continues the tradition of Lamborghinis to wear the ‘S’ badge, like the Miura and Countach.

A seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, all-wheel drive and four selectable driving modes allow all 544kW to be exploited, while 9x20-inch front and 13x21-inch rear wheels with Pirelli P Zero tyres stick the Aventador S to the road.

Carbon ceramic brakes are standard, while the carbon fibre monocoque and mix of carbon and aluminium panels keep weight down to just 1,575kg. ESC, active front and rear suspension and dynamic four-wheel steering are other features.

Inside, the Aventador S combines luxury with cutting-edge technology. There’s quality leather trim, an interactive liquid-crystal TFT instrument display and customisable LED ambient lighting.

2023 Lamborghini Huracan STO

Delivering all the feel and technology of a race car while remaining road legal, the Huracan STO features aero and handling dynamics that have been honed on the track, augmented by Lamborghini’s highest-performing NA V10 engine.

The 5.2-litre V10 produces 470kW and 565Nm, driving the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Top speed is 310km/h with 0-100km/h acceleration in 3.0 seconds.

Underpinning the Huracan STO is a hybrid aluminium and carbon fibre chassis, with aluminium and synthetic panels. Body design includes the ‘Cofango’ front end combining the bonnet and front guards to maximise aerodynamic performance while saving weight.

Racing inspiration continues inside the Huracan STO, with abundant use of carbon fibre and Alcantara trim for the dash, doors, seats and steering wheel. There are leather accents on the seats, too.

Weight saving measures inside make the STO lighter than the Huracan EVO, while the large vertical touchscreen allows easy control of all vehicle functions.
