Lotus celebrates at Mount Panorama

More than 150 Lotus owners attended the Bathurst Track Day 2020, taking in the weekend’s racing, then a Lotus-only drive event on the following Wednesday (5 February).

Track time on the Mount Panorama circuit was split between Sprint and Drive groups, with the former timed and the latter just for fun. Each group indulged in more than an hour and a half of track time, with access to the Supercars garages, a full support team of Lotus engineers and both professional driving training instructors and passenger hot laps.

The day concluded with a catered dinner on pit lane, supplemented by video presentations and live music.

David McIntyre, Regional Director, Asia Pacific & China, Lotus Cars joined the group at Bathurst and commented: “It’s great to kick the year off in Australia, a market that was very successful for us in 2019.

“Through stand-out events such as the Lotus-only track day, we will continue to build the brand across Australia, adding to the success we experienced last year.”
