World record anniversary
September 28th marked the eightieth anniversary of Maserati's first world record. In 1929, Bakunin Borzacchini set a world speed record over the flying 10 km, driving a 16-cylinder vehicle designed by Alfieri Maserati. He achieved a speed of 246.069 kph.
