Mazda Hakaze concept. May 2008
The long sleek body has a removable roof, providing a roadster like feel. Its distinctive sculptured panels and nose may not be to everyone's taste, but are meant to represent sand dune like surface interaction. The concept was designed at Mazda's European Design Centre in Germany and is a compact crossover coupe. Its two large pop up doors are keyless, one-touch and provide a wide opening to the four bucket seats inside. There is a strong focus on the driver with a wrap-around cockpit.
