Melbourne Motor Show 2008
Forget political correctness, this show bared plenty of genuine muscle cars, with powerplants that can easily eclipse current speed limits in seconds, and stunning race inspired sheet metal. While the show boasted the quickest production car on earth - the gorgeous Bugatti Veyron - the home grown Bolwell Nagari, Evade racer, Mitsubishi Evolution, Ferraris and Lamborghinis, it was wind back the clock to the glory days when Ford and Holden were the stars of the show. Holden ambushed Ford's latest Falcon with its Coupe 60 concept car.
The launch was spectacular, and so was the car. It was undoubtedly the Show's star car. HSV also pulled out a brutal sedan, boasting a monsterous seven-litre V8. Over in the blue corner PFV also pulled the covers off its new V8 powered GT, F6 sedan and ute. This was a show that had something for the motoring enthusiast and so it is with great pleasure that Just Cars again brings you this special Melbourne Motor Show special. We hope you enjoy the cars as much as we did.
