Mercedes-Benz CL Range

The two door CL-Class coupes are available from $308,000 for the CL 500, with the powerful CL 63 AMG at $383,000. The turbo-charged V12 CL 600 starts at $389,000. The V8 powerplant in the CL 500 delivers 285kWs and has a maximum torque of 530Nm at 2800 rpm. This is an improvement of 26 percent power over the existing V8 unit. It achieves 0-100km/h in just 5.4 seconds (previously 6.3 seconds). The ultimate machine is the CL 600, powered by a dual turbo twelve cylinder engine, which produces 380kW of power and a stump pulling torque of 830Nm at 3500 rpm. The CL 600 accelerates from 0 - 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds.

The CL 63 AMG uses a 6,208cc V8 engine that produces 385kW power and 630Nm of torque, matched to the seamless AMG Speedshift 7G-tronic 7-speed automatic transmission. The CL Class features Active Body Control suspension, Pre Safe occupant protection system, Brake Assist and numerous other technologies. The interior is available in five colours with an impressive array of technical and luxury highlights as standard equipment. The Command system provides integrated satellite navigation, DVD, television and keyless-go electronic drive authorisation.
