Mercedes creates 'Edition 130' AMG C 63 S
The 'Edition 130' Mercedes-AMG C 63 S convertible was created to mark 130 years since Gottlieb Daimler and Carl Benz invented the first true automobile in 1886.
The special edition, limited to just 130 copies, runs the same 5.5-litre twin turbo V8 - delivering 430kW/900Nm and a 0-100km/h sprint time of 3.9 seconds - and 4MATIC all-wheel drive as the regular C 63 S softop, but is identified by a unique, high-gloss "alubeam silver" exterior paint finish, Bordeaux Red fabric hood and matt black 20-inch wheels with red brake calipers.
Inside, the Edition 130's unique interior trim comprises exclusive 'designo nappa' leather upholstery in a choice of two colours (Bengal Red/black or Crystal Grey/black, with matching floor mats), and trim in carbon/piano black.
An 'Edition 130 - 1 of 130' badge adorns the console and steering wheel, with each unit also coming with a tailor-made indoor car cover and special key ring with its own presentation case.
List price for the Edition 130 AMG C 63 S is 226,457 Euros (AU$309,000 approx.). At time of writing, no examples of the Edition 130 were confirmed for Australian delivery.
