Mini Events around the World
As you'd expect, a lot of these celebrations, like MINI United featured in this issue, are based in the UK, but there are others. As this issue went to press, 'East Meets West', the American Mini Meet was underway. Dubbed the "Mini-Sotan Job" (because it was held in Winona, Minnesota), this event was an homage to both 'Italian Job' movies and the 40th anniversary of the release of the original 1969 film. Have a look at www.minimeet09.org/ for some post-event coverage.
