The electric car is described as the ultimate eco-car and runs on a large capacity lithium-ion battery. It will take about seven hours to fully charge from Australia's 2420 volt power system and requires a 15 amp outlet.
A fast charge system would take the batteries to about 80 percent of their full capacity in around 30 minutes. The car is likely to be priced in the $50,000 to $60,000 range.
