Model T's on Parade
With plenty of T parades and displays already been and gone - and more to come in this centenary year - there will be ample chance for those of you who haven't seen a group of Model T Fords up close to check some out at an event near you.
A good selection of Model T's were on hand at this year's Historic Winton, with several taking part in parade laps as well as the paddock displays. While we've shown Kevyn Brown's 1915 speedster (black open car #15) before, Historic Winton was the first time we laid eyes on Andrew Brown's 1917 Roadster (grey/blue car #19). Nice patina, Andrew! Russell Black's beautifully-restored 1911 Tourabout was the standout of the meet. Russell brought the Tourabout down from New South Wales for Historic Winton, and while it looks completed, the resto of this rare body style (as defined by the lack of doors) is apparently still ongoing.
