New formula Shell V-Power released

Shell claims the newly reformulated V-Power, a 98 octane premium unleaded fuel designed to improve performance, immediately benefits the car's engine*.

Jane Morwick, retail business manager, Shell Australia said, "We know our customers love Shell V-Power and expect the best. That's why Shell V-Power now contains 25% more Friction Modification Technology (FMT) compared to our previous formulation."

The newly reformulated Shell V-Power is designed to instantly reduce friction in critical engine areas, helping to deliver more responsiveness and power to the wheels*.

"Customers will benefit most if they fill up regularly with Shell V-Power because they will receive the maximum performance and protection benefits it can deliver," Morwick added.

To celebrate the newly reformulated Shell V-Power, customers can earn flybuys triple points with any purchase of Shell V-Power exclusively at Shell Coles Express sites from 1 November 2013 - 8 January 2014.

Shell invest approximately 21,000 hours a year into research and development and the new formulation is the latest generation of premium performance fuel, developed in conjunction with Shell's technical partner Ferrari.

Shell V-Power contains 99% of the same compounds as the fuel used by Ferrari in Formula One team.
