New-look Mazda MX-5 now available
The refreshed model is identified by a number of exterior and interior design upgrades, including a new front bumper design, larger front grille, updated front fog lamp bezel and a new front chin spoiler.
Mechanically, basic spec of the restyled MX-5 is unchanged, but acceleration and braking characteristics have been revised, thanks to adjustments to the throttle management program, and the brake booster.
Throttle management changes make the manual model MX-5 more responsive when accelerating out of corners, while updates to the brake booster make it easier to control the front and rear load distribution - improving braking ability all round.
The new-Look MX-5 comes in two grades, Roadster Coupe and the Roadster Coupe Sports.
Available with a choice of a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission, prices start at $47,280 (MRLP).
