Olivia' Mustang up for grabs

Bayford Ford, in conjunction with Tickford and PPG, created a 'one of a kind' Ford Mustang GT to be raffled in support of the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness & Research Centre (ONJ Centre) at Austin Health in Heidelberg.
 

Valued by Bayford at more than $129,000, the Tickford touches on the 'Olivia' Mustang include a full custom leather interior upgrade, Tickford wheels and suspension, plus a "powertrain upgrade", but how much more grunt the tuning and exhaust modifications now offer has not been revealed.

 

Tickford also laid down the custom pale lime green paint job (using PPG paints), with black GT stripes and Olivia "O" front decal further distinguishing this one-off. Blackout mirrors and badges also feature, with a rear spoiler added.

 

Celebrating their centenary this year, Bayford Ford was established in Fitzroy in 1917. From that first franchise, Bayford expanded and now has four dealerships; North Melbourne, Coburg, Bundoora and now Epping.

 

Bayford Ford Dealer Principal David Blackwood said: "The project to build this unique 'Olivia' Mustang has been embraced by way of a great partnership with Tickford and PPG.

 

"When we decided to support the ONJ Centre, we agreed that Bayford Ford would aim to deliver something very special and the 'Olivia' Mustang fits the bill. It is a unique car which I'm sure will be very sought after."

 

Head of Philanthropy for the ONJ Centre, Leigh Wallace added: "We conduct a wide range of fundraising for the Centre, but the 'Olivia' Mustang is one of the most unique promotions we have ever been involved with. The raffle to win the 'Olivia' Mustang is open to Victorian residents over 18 years of age, with tickets now available HERE for $20 each. Entries close on 14/07/17.

Supplementary prizes include a Supercar hot lap experience, Supercar pit lane experience and Phillip Island Circuit driving experience.
