Quality Muscle and Classics everywhere in Burns & Co’s October Auction
Burns & Co. Auctions have secured a big ticket of desirable cars, motorcycles and memorabilia for their October auction. With lots at Burns & Co’s Victorian and NSW auction rooms, this three-day auction will feature something for everyone, from fantastic Aussie muscle and all-time favourite classics, to American, European or Asian icons, plus collectable motorcycles and entry level club cars.
Online pre-bidding is now open ahead of the live auction, which will be held on Monday 6, Tuesday 7 and Wednesday 8 October, 2025. The first lot will go under the hammer at 6:00pm each evening.

Burns and Co. are specialists at selling Aussie muscle and classic cars, and this October auction is no different. Leading the way for the Holdens is a 1972 HQ Monaro GTS 308 coupe, with original Chateau Mauve paint and black interior, and just 15,050 miles showing on the odometer. This genuine time capsule is being offered unreserved. There are two other HQ GTS Monaros, also unreserved, plus HK and HG Monaros; the latter built to Pro Street spec with a supercharged LS3 V8 that’s producing 520kW at the wheels.
Other Holdens to tempt you include a genuine VL SS Group A Walkinshaw, VL Commodore SL sedan (unreserved), LJ Torana GTR, one HX and two HJ Sandman panel vans, VN and VE Calais sedans, an HZ Kingswood wagon, FJ and EJ sedans, plus EH, FC, HR and VZ SS utes. For something a bit different, there is also a 1989 VN Commodore “Grass Limousine” that’s being offered unreserved and has to be seen to be believed!
For HDT and HSV aficionados, there’s a restored HDT VK Series II Group 3 SS Commodore in Asteroid Silver, VK Commodore Blue Meanie tribute, HDT VK Berlina V8 wagon, HSV GTS Coupe, supercharged 2007 HSV WM Grange, plus HSV VP and VZ Clubsports. There’s also a 2017 HSV GTS-R Maloo ute with very low kms that’s like new inside and out.
Fans of Aussie Fords have plenty to choose from, too, with XA Falcon GT and XB Falcon GS sedans, two custom XW Falcon utes, XW and XY Falcon GT tributes, an XY Falcon 500 wagon, classic 1992 Laser Ghia (unreserved), a 2005 BF Fairlane Ghia (unreserved) and an ex-Vic Police BA Falcon XR8.
Other Australian manufactured cars in the auction include a 1977 Chrysler CL Charger 770, 1946 Holden-bodied Chevrolet ute, and a super-rare Mitsubishi TMR 380 performance sedan. A handful of these were built in 2008 before Mitsubishi Australia closed the book on local manufacturing. This one is #12 of 18, has only 903kms on the odometer and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and period literature.

It’s not just Aussie cars up for grabs. There are plenty of American, European, British and Asian cars available, too, including a 1966 Ford GT40 replica, supercharged 2015 Roush Mustang GT and classic 1965 K Code Mustang GT coupe, 1956 F100 pickup, 1936 Hudson Terraplane (unreserved), and a Chrysler Crossfire coupe. For rodders, there’s a ’32 Ford tribute roadster, ’39 Tudor and ’27 ‘Tall T’ sedan; the latter two offered unreserved.
British cars in this auction include a rare 1950 Riley 2.5 RMC roadster, Mk V and XJ6 Jaguars, a 1955 Austin-Healey 100/6 and a 1978 Triumph TR7. Premium German vehicles on offer include a 1976 BMW 3.0L and 2013 BMW M3, plus 280CE, E250 and AMG C32 Mercedes.
Other international offerings include a ’59 Cadillac Series 62 convertible, ’57 Chev Bel Air pillared 2-door, ’57 Chev 3100 pickup with a 350 and auto, ’66 Buick Riviera, and a 1981 Datsun 280ZX.

Then there are the motorcycles, with models from 1925 to 2015 that include an Aprilia RSV4 Superpole Limited Edition (1 of 25 for Australia), 1937 Indian Sport Scout, 1950 Sunbeam S7 de luxe, Triumph T150 Trident and a 1953 Norton Dominator 88. Harley-Davidsons in this auction include two J Models; a 1925 outfit and 1928 solo, plus a very tasty 1947 WL and a customised 1992 Heritage Softail. Throw in a Kawasaki KZ1000, Laverda Jota, Honda XR650R, rare 1971 Suzuki Stinger 125, even rarer 1927 Raleigh 250, and a Lambretta 150 LD scooter, and there is a great selection of two-wheel machines up for grabs.
