The Drag Tag facility, which was developed in Australia, uses a simulation system that allows drivers to use real cars on a dynamometer that measures speed and tractive effort to race in a number of situations without the risk of accidents. This money can't buy experience for any motorsport fan was one which the excited and appreciative four customers relished, as did John, at one of the countries most unique driving centres. However, despite much friendly banter and hype prior to the races, none of the guests could beat the former Bathurst 1000 champion. However, in recognition of his gallant efforts, Pat De Pietro (pictured) was declared the 'winner' and was pleasantly surprised to be presented by John with a personally signed photo from John. Rare Spares recently provided a (fittingly) rare and exciting opportunity for a national group of RSP Automotive & Industrial customers to race V8 Supercar legend and Rare Spares ambassador, John Bowe, at Melbourne's Drag Tag race simulation facility.
