Return of the Ford Mondeo

The new Mondeo will be available in two body styles - sedan and hatch - with manual or automatic transmissions and offered in three different trim levels. There are three different engines, including a 2.0-litre turbo-diesel unit. Designed and engineered in Germany the Mondeo is nothing like the car that previously carried its badge. It is a technically advanced car, which may in fact "steal" sales from Falcon. It is the first production version of what Ford term "kinetic" design styling. The Mondeo will be launched later in the year.
