Rinspeed Senso Concept

Produced by Swiss automotive design and solutions specialist Rinspeed, Senso reflects radical styling and features that may become standard safety equipment in cars of the future. The Senso is equipped with a biometric Polar watch to monitor the driver's pulse and a mobile-eye camera that watches for everything from lane changes to closing speeds on other vehicles.

If the driver is judged to be driving aggressively, the Senso releases vanilla fragrance and puts subtle blue-violet light and calming music into the cabin to encourage relaxation. And if the central computer system senses any symptoms of tiredness, electric motors in the seat will vibrate to shake the driver awake. The driver sits in the centre of the car, flanked by two passenger seats and all surrounded by high-tech carbon fibre panels.
