SA’S CLASSIC CAR SPECIALISTS TO RE-OPEN

One of the finest national car dealers, Collectable Classics, has recently re-opened- and they have an impressive inventory that will appeal to all JUST CARS lovers.

We speak with Ben Finnis of the Finnis Family to discuss further:

First established in 1988 by Michael Finnis, Collectable Classics soon established itself as Adelaide’s leading seller of all types of sports, classic and unique motor vehicles, to the delight of all enthusiasts, it has now re-opened to the general public in the lovely Adelaide Hills town of Strathalbyn.

Inside the yard one will find all the marquee brands such as MG, Austin Healey, Morris, Porsche, Ford, Holden, Jaguar, Chrysler as well as anything that has a racing history. Much like in this magazine, normal cars do not get a look in!

The business has stayed in the family, with Ben Finnis now handling the main operations- and it’s clear he couldn’t be prouder.

“We are really passionate about establishing an automotive destination of choice for classic and rare cars and their owners in Adelaide” says Finnis “We really want to see those whom are visiting here to stop past, check out our stock or have a walk through our motor museum”

Collectable Classics are also keeping it local, regularly hosting local car clubs who get to meet and greet other local enthusiasts with similar interests- creating a community vibe that is setting an example for other dealers- that it’s about building a passionate tribe of like-minded people.

With a planned expansion of motorcycles in progress, a new garage has been arranged to showcase them.

“Yeah, we have been flat out- but I wouldn’t want it any other way” Finnis says.

Collectable Classics can also assist in selling your own classic car or motorcycle if you need that showroom finish- vehicles will be stored undercover in a near new garage with it’s own insurance policy as well.
