Sandown Drive Days tickets now available
Organised by the Victorian Transport Association, the biannual Sandown Drive Days and has the active support of leading organisations, including VicRoads, the National Transport Commission, Transport Certification Australia, Transport Accident Commission, CityLink, EastLink, WorkSafe Victoria, ARRB Group, VACC, Roads Australia as well as leading truck manufacturers Daimler Trucks, Hino, Paccar, Scania and Volvo.
The event showcases advances made in vehicle safety, productivity and technology, while practical, hands-on sessions involve working demonstrations of trucks, trailers, vans, cars and motorcycles. The latest advances in technology, workplace safety solutions and best practice maintenance will also be demonstrated, as well as sessions on motorcycle safety, PBS vehicles and bulk tanker emergency response.
Two days of activities across a range of areas including:
- On track driving of heavy vehicles, cars and vans
- Vehicle maintenance demonstrations
- Technology demonstrations
- Safety and productivity demonstrations
- Bulk tanker emergency exercise and tanker inspection
The Sandown Drive Days program will be run as a series of half-day sessions. At present, there are 4 key (repeated) sessions and 1 one-off sessions. Tickets cost $165 (incl GST) per session and you can purchase tickets for 1 or more of the activites across 3 sessions.
