SEVEN82MOTORS’ August auction is LIVE
Following on from their massive Cooly Rocks On auction in June, SEVEN82MOTORS have an even bigger consignment list for their latest auction, which gets underway on Friday, 9 August and runs to Monday 19 August. A total of 72 cars (including 5 No Reserve offerings) have been consigned for the 11-day online auction.
One of the highlights is a 1969 Dodge Charger ‘General Lee’ promotional vehicle used in the early 1980s to publicise The Dukes of Hazzard when the TV show was at its peak. Officially licensed by Warner Brothers for car shows and event appearances, this car is one of five built and four still in existence. Unearthed in 2003 after two decades in storage, this General Lee promotional vehicle was jumped over six cars in a televised event, then restored in the USA before it came to Australia in 2007.

From a genuine 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 302, to a 2018 Dodge Demon, an ‘Eleanor’ Mustang replica, 1960 Chevy Impala coupe, Mazda R100 rotary, Ford GT40 replica, ’64 Pontiac Bonneville, Ford Torino 429, ’74 VW Kombi, HSV Clubsport GXP and even a Ferrari 612 Scaglietti, there’s something to suit just about every automotive taste in the August auction.
A pair of outstanding hot rods – a 1930 Ford Model A and 1938 International – are also up for grabs, along with a trick ’57 Chevy pickup, bold ’84 Ford Bronco custom and a very cool ’47 Ford COE pickup.
Aussie Fords and Holdens are well represented, including a genuine Torana GTR XU-1 and A9X, an XB Falcon GT hardtop with ‘Horn Car’ trim, no less than three Sandmans (including a genuine HJ ute and HX panel van), a supercharged XA Falcon hardtop, a super-rare ‘CDT’ turbocharged VH Commodore, VL ‘Nitron’ Commodore and a matching pair of FPV BF Cobras – sedan and ute.
These and all the other cars in this auction are of the high standard that SEVEN82MOTORS are renowned for.
Online bidding for the SEVEN82MOTORS August auction opens from 6:00PM on Friday, 9 August and runs through to Monday, 19 August. The close of bidding - from 7:00PM on the 19th - will be live streamed, hosted by SEVEN82’s Ben and Locky. The live stream kicks off at 6:30PM.

On the Open Days, there’s much more to see and experience than just the cars. An on-site DJ and the ‘Rolla Girls’ bring the vibes, while The Brass Monkey Barber Shop will be open for haircuts and cut-throat shaves. The amazing neon collection (one of Australia’s biggest), soda collection, Texaco garage display and Benny’s memorabilia are worth the visit, too. There are also garage tours and Big Benny’s Diner, the newest addition to SEVEN82MOTORS, where you can fuel up with great American diner-style food.
