Speed on Tweed Festival
2007 marked the event's 6th anniversary and Just Cars was there to capture some of the colour of the event as drivers challenged their skill over the 1.4 km street circuit. The festival brings famous cars and famous people to the town of Murwillumbah every year. This year, arguably Australia's most famous triumvirate of all graced the event: Sir Jack Brabham; Ron Tauranac and the championship-winning Repco Brabham. The trio were part of a tribute to the Australian Grand Prix - the theme of this year's event. Drivers the likes of Frank Gardner, Lou Molina & Vern Schuppan joined more than two dozen actual Grand Prix cars in action. Ford V8 and MG Specials were also on show, along wih a tribute to Peter Brock in the form of a replica Austin A30 racer. A diverse range of famous makes & models, and even a few 'never-heard-of-it' names like Nedelko and Jolus, kept the 20,000+ fans entertained.
