For their first auction of 2026, Burns & Co. have filled their Victorian and Newcastle/Central Coast rooms with a truly diverse range of consignments. This two-night auction runs on 19 and 20 January, with pre-bidding open now, so jump online to secure an awesome collectable vehicle for 2026.

Night 1, on Monday, 19 January, will see the first lot go under the hammer at the bidder friendly time of 6:00pm AEDT. Night 2, on Tuesday, 20 January, also kicks off from 6:00pm AEDT.
As always with these auctions, you can bid online, on the phone, through absentee bidding forms or in person at Burns & Co’s auction rooms - 4 Market Drive, Bayswater, 3153 – each night.
NOTE: There is no in-person bidding at Burns & Co’s Newcastle/Central Coast premises.

Burns and Co. are specialists at selling Aussie muscle and classic cars, and the January auction is no different. Holdens on offer include two highly collectable 1986 HDT VL Group A Commodores, a ’73 HQ Monaro GTS sedan, ’77 HX Monaro GTS sedan (in popular Papaya),’78 HZ Kingswood, ’89 HSV VN SV5000 and 2002 CV8 Monaro, plus a ’51 48-215 (FX) sedan that was with its original owner for 62 years and is being offered unreserved.

For fans of Holden utes, there’s an outstanding ’68 HK Belmont, a mild custom ’61 EK, plus a 2012 VE SS Thunder, 2017 VF SSV Redline and 2009 VE Omega; the latter unreserved.
For the enthusiast of Aussie Fords, vehicles up for grabs include a 1976 XB Falcon GT coupe, ’69 XW Falcon GT-HO Phase I, ’75 XB Fairmont sedan, ’86 XF Falcon panel van, FG and FG-X Falcon XR6 utes, a ’90 NA Fairlane stretch limo, ’98 NL Fairlane Ghia, and a ’94 Capri XR2 convertible.

There are plenty of American & Japanese cars in this auction, too, including a 1960 Chevrolet Impala pillared sedan, ’57 Chevrolet 3100 V8 pickup, a Ford Model A hot rod roadster and matching teardrop caravan, ’62 Thunderbird coupe, ’66 Mustang GT350R replica, three Mustang convertibles, an AC Cobra tribute, ’69 Cortina Mark II sedan, a ’91 Toyota 80 Series Landcruiser GXL, 2016 Isuzu D-MAX, ’87 Mazda RX7 convertible, 2006 Honda Integra and a Hyundai i20 (unreserved).

For something a bit spicy, there’s also a 2012 Toyota 86 with a widebody kit, 18-inch SSR rims, sequential indicators, adjustable airbag suspension and a brake upgrade. Under the bonnet, there’s an HKS turbo and lots of other juicy upgrades, while a $4,000 sound system, Bride Low Max seats and additional gauges have been added to the cabin.
And for something different, how about a 1929 Dodge custom limousine with modern running gear and seating for six passengers that’d be perfect for wedding and formal hire use.

If your tastes swing toward British and European cars, there’s a restored ’39 Wolseley Series III 25hp limousine, rare 2003 Rover 75 Connoisseur, ’96 Jaguar XJ12, ’97 MG F, ’79 MG B rubbernose, ’62 Peugeot 403 sedan and a very uncommon ’71 Morris 1500 with the Luxury Pack that’s being offered unreserved.
For something more exotic, how about a ’73 Rolls Royce Corniche coupe, ’89 Maserati Biturbo, ’70 Mercedes 250CE coupe, ’84 Mercedes 500SEC coupe, 2004 Bentley Continental GT or ’65 Mercedes 230SL Pagoda convertible.
There’s a tidy selection of two-wheel machines up for grabs, too, including a pair of 70s Ducatis (750 Sport and 450 Desmo), a 1975 Kawasaki KZ900, ’55 Triumph Tiger 110 and a 2006 Honda CBR1000RR that’s being offered unreserved.
