Subaru announce BRZ Sports Pack

According to Nick Senior, Managing Director, Subaru Australia, the release of the pack was driven by customer demand.

"All indications are that many BRZ buyers want to add some performance touches to their cars," Senior said. "Choosing Subaru-backed equipment offers great design, quality and peace-of-mind that isn't necessarily guaranteed by after-market suppliers."

The bundled pack comes on the back of a number of other individual items that have been released by Subaru for the BRZ, including STi-badged appearance items, sat nav, floor mats, reversing camera, GT stripes and more.

The 'S' pack is valued at $7,195 for the auto BRZ, or $7,995 for the manual transmission-equipped BRZ and comprises the following:
_ Front under spoiler
_ Side under spoiler
_ Rear side under spoiler
_ Boot lip spoiler (crystal black mica)
_ Flexible tower bar
_ Lowered coil spring set
_ 17-inch black STI alloy wheel
_ Gear shift lever assembly (manual-only)
_ Duracon shift knob (manual-only)
_ Engine push-button start switch
_ Rear under diffuser

Viewable at: http://subaru.com.au/brz/subarubrz/option, the pack is currently available to existing BRZ owners for retrofit by authorized Subaru dealerships. The pack can also be ordered by customers buying new BRZs online, with the components fitted before vehicle delivery. All components are made by Subaru Tecnica International (STi), Subaru's performance arm, and are tested to the same standards as Subaru's vehicle range.

The pack gives BRZ buyers the opportunity to personalize their car with the peace-of-mind of factory warranty* on every item.

* BRZ parts and accessories ordered online at the same time as a new BRZ and fitted prior to delivery to the customer are covered by the three-year/unlimited kilometre factory warranty that comes with the car. Items bought after the car's delivery come with a two-year factory warranty if fitted by an authorized Subaru retailer.
