Sullivans van at Shannons
Finished in brush-painted cream with contrasting black mudguards, the dainty Morris appeared as a prop in the 'The Sullivans', complete with 'snake Gully Groceries' sign writing.
One of 200,000 produced between 1926 and 1931, the Cowley includes interesting features such as cowl lights, a dashboard clock, a running board rack, a door-mounted hand horn and a spotlight mounted on the A-pillar.
Currently in running condition, Shannons believe this interesting 1920s Morris van would make a great static display or an appealing mobile billboard for a creative tradesman.
The Morris will be sold unregistered for no reserve with owner's manuals and a copy of the 1983 Vintage Drivers Club newsletter showing photos with the "Snake Gully Livery".
Shannons are predicting a guiding range of $5000-$8000 for this interesting piece of Australian television history.
