Feeding the same passion for cars amongst Victorians that saw the Melbourne Motor Show revived in 2025, the organisers of that event have announced the return of another celebration of automotive excellence – Compello.
Last held in 2024, Compello’s return for 2026 will be on 21-22 November at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre. This upcoming edition of Compello will present a specially curated selection of 60 exceptional vehicles, with a focus on built JDM and European performance cars, plus modern Aussie and American muscle.

Special guest at this year’s Compello will be Sung Kang, star of the Fast & Furious franchise, and director of the upcoming feature film, Drifter, that’s due for Australian release later this year.
In his first visit to Australia, Kang will speak to Compello attendees about his role as Han and the broader F&F universe, bringing Drifter to the big screen, and his passion for car culture.
Tickets for Compello go on sale from 1 October, 2026, with past Melbourne Motor Show attendees given first access to a limited drop. Along with a discount on general release ticket pricing, early purchasers will also get the chance to join Sung Kang for a special Meet & Greet that’s limited to 200 people.
Compello organisers report that there are already more people on the wait list than there are available tickets, so this event will sell out.
