Suns out, guns out for JUST CARS & COFFEE Brisbane
A glorious spring morning saw an equally glorious display of cars at Café Elle in Geebung for the September edition of JUST CARS & COFFEE Brisbane.
From top-flight McLaren supercars to humble Toyota utes and everything in between, the perfect weather attracted a big turnout, with cars spilling into the surrounding streets.

From a peppy Abarth 595, to a brawny C3 Corvette and striking Nissan 370Z, the September JUST CARS & COFFEE also welcomed cars as diverse as a Ferrari F430, 1968 Dodge Charger and a Manx-style dune buggy. A bodykit-equipped NB MX-5 got plenty of attention, as did an immaculate 1955 Ford Thunderbird, while an Ultima GTR looked ready to tackle the 24 Hours of Le Mans!

Late model BMWs were out in force again, as was a gaggle of iconic ’90s-’00s Japanese sports cars, with an A80 Supra, Nissan 200SX and 300ZX, fifth-gen Honda Prelude and worked R33 Skyline spotted, while a pair of aggressive R35 GT-Rs rivalled some of the rarer sports in terms of eye candy.
A Lamborghini Urus received plenty of camera phone action, as did a ’64 Chevy Impala lowrider, especially when the hydraulics fired up.

Just as classic as the Impala, but much, much rarer was a ’63 Mercury S-55. Offered for only a few model years in the 1960s, the S-55 was based on the Monterey and came with either a 390 or 427 V8 under the bonnet in 1963, while sporty bucket seats and a centre console were added to the cabin. In S-55s with the hardtop body, the reverse slant rear windscreen was retractable, adding a bit of theatre, while an optional 427 in near-race spec added a lot of grunt.
It wasn’t just rare stuff. Holdens, Mustangs, Porsches, Camaros, Falcons and Beetles meant September’s JUST CARS & COFFEE Brisbane had all the crowd favourites, too.

BGS Classic Cars presented an immaculate 1969 Morgan 4/4 roadster that was for sale, while Diecast Diehards had just returned from the 2025 Diecast Model Expo in Melbourne, so had a bunch of new scale replicas that were launched at the Expo. These included INNO64's 1989 Bathurst-winning Johnson/Bowe Ford Sierra RS500 (signed by John), ACE Models' 1:43 Melinda Price 1998 Castrol Cougars VS Commodore (signed by Mel), a couple of wicked looking 1:24 custom VL Commodores (DDA producing just 120 of each - and snapped up in just as many seconds), and OZWheels' three different custom interpretations of the "Blue Meanie" HDT VK Commodore.

Held on the last Saturday of each month, JUST CARS & COFFEE Brisbane welcomes all classic, custom and collectable cars. The event is sponsored by Diecast Diehards, Just Pro Tools, Avant Garde Financial Brokerage P/L and BGS Classic Cars.
