Three big Queanbeyan car events

All Ford Day / All GM Day

Come along and wrap your eyes around a huge display of Fords from all over the world. From 1950's F100s to FG GT's, there will be something here for every Ford enthusiast. With loads of trophies up for grabs, we are looking forward to seeing who will be judged best of show! The event is open to all makes and models of Ford and GM vehicles; half of the large oval will be All Ford Day and the other half will be All GM Day. And yes, you can enter your car on the day of the show! Sponsorship and trade enquiries welcome.

Date: Saturday September 24 2011
Location: Queanbeyan Showground (enter through Glebe Avenue gate)
Time: cars to be in place by 9am, Judging starts at 11am; car show starts at 10am; Swap Meet starts at 6am. All Ford Day / All GM Day entrants can park their car on the oval anytime from 6am onwards (so you can check out the swap meet!).
Admission: car entry $5 (includes driver entry to event and swap meet); spectators $3 per person (includes entry to Swap Meet); Swap Meet sites (6 x 6 metres) $15 per day.

American Car Nationals

Cruise in and check out the best from the US! Loads of cars on display, including some brilliant restos, crazy customs and even original barn finds. The meet attracts a great mix of cars with plenty of rods, trucks, muscle cars, mopars and saloons. The American Car Nationals event is open to all makes, models and years of American cars, hot-rods, trucks, boats, caravans and machinery.

Time: American Car Nationals opens to entrants at 8am and to spectators at 10am.

Queanbeyan Swap Meet

Queanbeyan Swap Meet is an all makes and all types swap meet, with unlimited outside sites available. It's a great swap meet for the automotive bargain hunter, with nearly every stall vehicle related. One man's trash is definitely another's man's treasure! Our favourite item on sale at last year's show was a 1933 Dodge Pickup, featuring a Blown 302 Windsor and all steel body - it had the makings of a great little rat!

Location: Queanbeyan Showground (enter through Glebe Avenue gate)
Time: open to spectators and buyers 6am Saturday; 8.00am Sunday; site set-up from midday Friday onwards if required.
