Three massive nights ahead for Burns & Co’s June Muscle, Classic & Collectable Car & Motorcycle + Other Auction

With more vehicles flowing through the doors of their Bayswater and Newcastle/Central Coast facilities, Burns & Co Auctions have extended their June Muscle, Classic & Collectable Car & Motorcycle + Other Auction to three big nights!

With over 100 lots in this auction, covering cars, motorcycles and selected memorabilia, it’s easy to see why there was a need for a third night.

As is always the case with Burns & Co., there is sure to be something to suit your taste in this auction, whether you’re after Aussie muscle, all-time favourite classics, an American, European or Asian icon, collectable motorcycle or entry level club car.

All three nights will feature consignments from both the Bayswater (VIC) and Newcastle/Central Coast (NSW) facilities, but the live auction will be conducted from Bayswater.

Burns and Co have a history of offering up excellent Aussie classic and muscle cars, and the three-day June auction is no exception.

A great selection of Aussie Fords on offer includes 2 x LTDs, a one-owner XD Fairmont survivor, FPV Super Pursuit ute, XP Falcon sedan, NL Fairlane and a P4 Landau.

For Holden lovers, there’s an FX sedan, HR Premier sedan, HD Special sedan, 2 x HG Monaros and a CV8 Monaro, Sandman panel van and ute, 2013 HSV Maloo, 2 x EH utes (one restored, one project), VY S ute and WB one-tonner. There’s also a 2009 HSV Grange with LS3 V8, Torana SL/R 5000 tribute, VN Commodore Executive sedan, VS Calais, EJ Special wagon, VK Berlina wagon and HJ Kingswood wagon, WB and VS Statesman Caprices, a VY SS sedan with an LS1, HT Brougham, VS and VE HSV Clubsports, a 2017 HSV GTS-R and a very cool, restored FJ panel van originally ordered by the Commonwealth Department of Works and finished in a rare colour.  

For Chrysler fans, there’s a VF Pacer, rare R Series and 2 x S Series Valiants, plus a related Dodge Lancer wagon. A rare Leyland P76 is also on offer, along with vehicles that were Australian-assembled or delivered, like an AMI Rambler Matador X, Chev Stylemaster ute and Holden-bodied 1937 Chev tray truck.

American, European and other foreign-made cars in this auction include a Chevy Nova coupe, Studebaker Lark, ’62 VW Beetle, 2 x BMW Z3 convertibles, a Jeep TJ Wrangler Golden Eagle, Austin-Healey Sprite MkI, Plymouth Duster, ’66 Mustang coupe, ’68 Chev Impala hardtop sedan, ’56 F100 with 351/auto upgrade, 2005 Dodge Ram V10 pickup, ’98 Saab 95, ’78 MGB ‘rubbernose’ roadster, ’61 Cadillac DeVille sedan, ’67 Triumph GT6, ’32 Sunbeam 20hp saloon, 2017 Roush Mustang R727 and a C1920s Ford Model T with custom ute body.

A nice run of Mercedes in this auction includes two 1959 220S sedans, a 1990 500 SL convertible, and a very rare 1952 170D (W136) utility in RHD with a timber-lined Lueg tray. There are also three LandCruisers on offer - FJ40 ute, FJ60 wagon and FJ45 ute (the latter with a six-wheel conversion and 253 V8) – plus XK150 and S-type Jaguars.

Finally, for something completely different, how about a very cool 2018 Air/Swamp Boat powered by a Subaru flat four?!

Motorcycles on offer across night 2 and night 3 of this auction (no bikes on night 1) include veteran-era AJS and Douglas projects, a C1950s BSA project, partly restored BSA Bantam, ’46 BSA sloper outfit and a ’43 Villiers Junior De luxe. Other classic Brit bikes include a ’70 Triumph Bonneville T120R, ’76 Bonneville T140, and a ’72 Norton Commando 750.

There’s also a 1980 Moto Morini 500, ’73 Honda CR250 and an ’07 CR250R that’s unused from new.  American classics include a rare 1935 Harley ServiCar and ’42 Harley WLA (both restored), plus a ’27 Indian Scout ‘Police Special’. There’s also a ’99 Harley Softail custom chopper and a 2005 Softail Fat Boy with custom paint and wheels.

A one-lot selection of vintage motorcycle parts (seats, mudguards, engine parts and more) is also available, along with a trimmed and painted Dusting-style sidecar that includes a chassis and wheel.
