Seller's Description
For sale is my rare English bodied 1933 Rolls Royce 20/25 limousine with aluminium "Connaught" coachwork by Howard Godfrey & Co. of Piccadilly. These expensive bodies were only made for about a dozen Rolls Royces of varying models throughout the pre-war period. The car has been through a 4 year restoration of mechanical, bodywork and interior trimming. Only the best materials have been used and the complete leather interior was carried out by Mr. Lance Todd who is one of the superior craftsmen in period car restoration in Australia. The total electrical system has been replaced and an overdrive unit installed in the drive line to give you that 5th. gear that all cars of this era require in order to be able to cruise at highway speed with low engine revs and a great improvement in fuel economy.. A discrete power steering system has been installed for the driver's delight as the steering in all these cars is very heavy. The only way to evaluate this car is to drive it and you will be able to buy it for less than ½ the price that it would bring in England. The vendor is motivated to sell it and will negotiate the price to a respectable degree. No tyre kickers or time wasters need apply. The car is in Cleveland on Brisbane's bayside.
