They were actually an expensive motor car in their day, featuring very plush leather and wood interior and the body was handmade out of aluminium/magnesium attached to a tubular steel chassis This particular TR was in NSW for many years before arriving in Melbourne, 2015 a major body off frame and mechanical restoration was undertaken to the tune of over $43,000, and the invoices indicate a full engine and transmission rebuild together with suspension, brake and steering work.
