Just arrived - This 1950 Jaguar MkV 3½ Litre Saloon is a beautifully presented classic. The MkV was a wonderfully popular car in its time, produced alongside the XK120, but outselling it by approximately 5,000 cars per year. Over their four-year run, a total of 10,499 were produced, with 5923 of those being RHD 3½L. This MkV is a wonderful example. Powered by the 3485 cc '3½L' 6 cylinder engine and a four-speed single-helical manual gearbox, the Jaguar has been under long-term ownership and has received a complete restoration. This saw the car being stripped back to bare metal and rust fixed before being resprayed, and the interior completely retrimmed. Despite being an older restoration, the Jaguar presents beautifully throughout. Finished in a gorgeous silver, open the suicide doors for a seat inside the beautiful red interior. It is presented in wonderful condition for the age of the vehicle and is a true testament to its owner. The Jaguar also comes with an exceptional file, which includes photos documenting the restoration process and receipts dating back to 1964 from Bryson Industries. Complete with the full toolkit, this Jag is eligible for historic registration, which greatly minimises on-road costs. This is a wonderful classic Sunday cruiser, with so much style and classic charm, ready for its next custodian.
