Just arrived - This 1950 Jaguar MkV 3½ Litre Saloon is an original car with some wonderful history. The MkV was a wonderfully popular car in its time, produced alongside the XK120, but outselling it by approximately 5,000 cars per year. Over their four-year run, a total of 5923 were those RHD 3½L. This MkV is a very original example. Powered by the 3485 cc '3½L' 6 cylinder engine and a four-speed single-helical manual gearbox, the Jaguar has been under long-term family ownership. The Jaguar is presented in completely original condition, and at 74 years of age, it is showing its maturity in a few places and has been priced accordingly. Finished in black, open the suicide doors for a seat inside the contrasting cream interior. The Jaguar also comes with an exceptional file of its history. Owned by the current owner's family since the late 50's, the Jaguar was originally purchased new by the Governor of South Australia. The file also includes servicing by Classic & Sports Car Boutique, a new starter motor, a reconditioned brake master cylinder, and a restoration of the wood trim.
