Just arrived - This 1954 MGTF is a stunning example of these early sports cars. One of the most prolific brands in the classic car scene, MG is well known for their affordable sports cars such as the TF. This TF is driven by a 1250cc 'XPAG' 4-cylinder OHV engine, which is paired to a 4-speed centre change gearbox. The car presents fantastically despite being an older restoration, and it runs and drives very nicely. It's suicide doors open up to a very neat cream leather interior that elegantly accents the maroon. The black soft-top roof, which can fold away on nice days, is in wonderful condition, and the car is complete with side curtains as well. This TF comes with a large file of documentation, including a workshop manual, service manual, operation manual, sales brochure, and many receipts. These receipts show the car received a restoration in 2002, when the motor was rebuilt, gearbox overhauled, clutch overhauled, brakes overhauled, the body stripped and repainted, the interior reupholstered, and finished with new chromework. The file also shows the car has won several MG Car Club NSW Concours displays. Amazingly, this MGTF comes with an extensive service history all the way back to its first 1000-mile service. Such a beautiful car with a completely documented history is a one-in-a-million find. This MGTF is the ideal car for the fastidious and will not disappoint.
