Just arrived - This 1958 MGA 1500 is a beautiful, Australian-delivered car with some amazing history. One of the prettiest sports cars of the 1950s, the MGA is highly recognisable and well-appreciated by classic car enthusiasts. Available only for the roadster models, the MGA was brought to Australia in a complete knockdown kit (CKD) and reassembled in NSW. It is estimated that only 509 RHD CKD MGAs were produced in 1958, making this a truly rare car. This particular MGA is driven by a 1.5L 4-cylinder with a 4-speed manual transmission. Painted in the original, Australian exclusive colour of Miran Green, the MGA received a complete restoration beginning in 1996. This involved disassembling the car down to the chassis, with all parts being reconditioned, powder-coated, or resprayed. The body and paint work were completed in 1998, and then the MGA was back on the road again. To this day, the MGA is presented in fantastically maintained condition. The 27-year-old restoration is lovely for its age, and accented brilliantly by a neat tan interior. The MGA is complete, accompanied by a large folder of photos documenting the restoration and some of the car's history, as well as several workshop manuals and receipts from the restoration. This is a wonderful, rare Australian-delivered MGA with some amazing history that would suit those looking for a classic sports car to drive around on the weekends.
