1960 Cadillac Coupe Deville, purchased by the vendor from Joes Golden Gasolines in South Australia in 2008 it had been imported from Arizona USA which meant it was a rust free dry car. In June 2008 a full frame off bare metal restoration was completed over a 2 year period. The car has travelled less than 5000 miles since restoration was finished. All the vehicles chrome was re-chromed to a high standard while all the stainless trims were repaired and polished. The engine and running gear where totally rebuilt along with the brakes, carburettor, tail shaft, shocks, steering bushes and components and a mild performance cam was installed. The transmission was rebuilt by Ron Lawrence in Sydney who only specializes in Cadillac transmissions. The car is also fitted with an electronic ignition system from the USA. All new rubber kit USA, new glass USA, new moulded carpet USA, new wire harness USA, new roof lining USA, new dash cover, new leather trim Sydney Motor Trimmers and new Firestone tyres including spare.
Some Features that this Cadillac has are all power options include 6 way power seat position, power aerial, power windows, power steering, power brakes, power boot release, foot operated radio channel tuner, auto hand brake release, electronic eye hi beam dipper, ignition key hole night light and dash clock. Still fitted with the original radio which operates the power aerial, additional channels and the foot control channel tuner. It has also had a newer pioneer system fitted which is totally separate to the original radio system but both share the same aerial.
