1960 Chevrolet Sedan Delivery Grab a piece of history with this 1960 Sedan Delivery (Biscayne) before they all disappear. This is the last year that Chevrolet produced their once popular Sedan Delivery with just over 3000 units of this last model hitting the streets in 1960 before Chevrolet dropped the model from production making this very rare indeed as there are very few still remaining. This Car was originally imported from California in December of 2005 and has spent its Australian life getting constant upgrades and repairs to make it a comfortable and reliable cruiser. If you like having a chat to people, this is the car for you cause there just ain’t any around and everyone wants to know what it is! A brief outline of the upgrades include: * Change car from manual to Auto (New T350 Auto) * Swap steering column to suit new auto * New Suspension all round with lowered springs and Bilstein Shocks * New 2 1/4” dual exhaust system * Reconditioned original 1960 interior Gauges * New Eagle crate motor (330hp, Small Block 350 with Serpentine drive assembly) * New (re-install) Air-conditioning after engine upgrade * Reconditioned steering box * New centre bearing and tail shaft * New hand brake assembly * New Willwood Disc brakes all round including Booster, master cylinder, wheel bearings etc… * New Tru-trac, posi drive rear end with 3:08 gearing for better cruising performance. * Retrosound Bluetooth radio system (original 1960 look) * And to many other minor alterations that generally accompany the installation of all of the above major upgrades. I have also purchased many spare parts for this vehicle along the way as they are becoming increasingly hard to find, these include a spare grill, headlight and taillight bezels, badges, fender scripts and the list goes on, but they were intended to be used if the vehicle was ever to be go through a full restoration which I have never gotten around to wanting to do as I like the girl the way she is.
