Just arrived - This 1960 MGA 1600 is a beautiful, Australian-delivered car. One of the prettiest sports cars of the 1950s, the MGA is highly recognisable and well-appreciated by classic car enthusiasts. Available only for the roadster models, the MGA was brought to Australia in a complete knockdown kit (CKD) and reassembled in NSW. It is estimated that only 764 RHD CKD 1600 MGAs were produced in 1960, making this a truly rare car. This particular MGA is driven by a 1.6L 4-cylinder with a 4-speed manual transmission. Painted in the original, Australian-exclusive colour of Nurburg White, the MGA has been under long-term ownership since 2005. Since then, it has received plenty of maintenance and a fresh respray in the original colour. The 20-year-old restoration is very neat for its age, and accented brilliantly by a nice red interior. Enjoy the nice weather with a soft top roof and sliding window side curtains. The MGA is accompanied by a large folder including photos documenting the restoration, some of the car's history, as well as a driver's handbook and receipts from the restoration. The MGA is also available with the rights to the plate 'MGA160'. This is a wonderful, rare Australian-delivered MGA with some nice history that would suit those looking for a classic sports car to drive around on the weekends.
