Presenting in Trinidad Red over a burgundy interior, this factory right-hand-drive example is in outstanding condition for its age. Limitedly produced, this S badged convertible series of the Floride featured the R-1092 badge and are incredibly rare due to a single year of production.
In the late 90’s it was subject to a complete ground-up restoration during which the interior, exterior and engine were completely refreshed. Showing only 73,201 miles on the odometer, its paintwork presents in excellent condition and the interior is superb. The engine bay and undercarriage are spotless; a testament to the quality of the restoration and the meticulous maintenance of the vehicle.
Pairing a 1.0L inline-4 with an all-synchromesh 4-speed manual transmission, this Floride is a pleasure to drive. The engine was rebuilt, and the driveline refreshed during the restoration process, giving the car a tight, precise and sporty feel.
