Just arrived - This 1964 Austin Healey Sprite Mk3 is a lovely, affordable two-seater sports coupe for those who want something a little different. With 25,905 Mk3 Sprites produced in total, approximately 600 were imported in a Complete Knockdown Kit and delivered new in Australia. This is an Australian-delivered, three-owner vehicle. The Sprite is powered by a 1098cc 4-cylinder engine and features a 4-speed manual transmission with syncromesh on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gears. These cars are notoriously fun to drive while remaining mechanically simple. The first owner held the Sprite for 24 years before selling it to the second owner in 1988. It then received a respray and fresh upholstery in the mid-1990s. The current and third owners purchased the Sprite in 2004 and have loved and enjoyed the vehicle for the last 21 years. Over their ownership, the Sprite has been fitted with new extractors, front brake rotors, new rear wheel cylinders, an upgraded Sony radio, and the master cylinder has been overhauled. Despite being an older restoration, the Sprite remains in neat and tidy condition for its age. The Champion Red paint is offset nicely by a black hardtop roof and black leather interior. The car also comes with a black soft top roof and a tonneau cover, and several spare parts. Additionally, there is a file of receipts and workshop manuals to go with. These Sprites are hard to come by as an Australian-delivered vehicle, and with some great history, this car is very good value for money.
