Just arrived - We are delighted to be representing this 1964 Triumph TR4 as it finally enters the market again, last sold by us approximately seven years ago. The car was produced for the North American market, originally being sold by Standard Triumph Motor Company in Los Angeles, California. The vehicle then made its way into Australia, where it was converted to right-hand drive in 1991 and progressively restored over time. The British Motor Industry Heritage Trust confirms the car was originally red with black trim and a black roof, exactly as it displays today. The factory record also shows the car was optioned with a black tonneau, heater, windscreen washers, sixty-spoke wire wheels, wood veneer fascia, interior sun visors, and a tool kit roll. It runs a period-correct 2138cc 4-cylinder motor and 4 4-speed manual transmission and comes with a wonderful file of history dating back to 1991. This includes seats, carpets, and several other parts. More recently, the TR4 has received a new starter motor, front wheel bearings and new radiator hoses. The TR4 is presented in beautiful condition for an older restoration, both inside and out and would make a wonderful car for club runs and weekend cruises.
