Seller's Description
Just arrived - This 1968 Fiat 850 Spider is as rare as it is small. Designed and built by Bertone, the Fiat 850 Spider featured a sleek and simple design compared to its siblings. It is estimated that around 140,000 were made throughout the 9 years of production, and it would be a wonder how many are still on the road today. This Fiat is a good example of a small Italian sports car. It is powered by an 843cc 4-cylinder motor that produced 49 hp (wow!), allowing the car to reach a top speed of approximately 145km/h. This is paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. Previously belonging to a dear friend of Collectable Classics, the late Roger Ingerson purchased the car on 20th June 2004. Over the years, the Fiat was well-loved and well-looked after. Though not concourse, it is tidy for the age and runs nicely. Along with its original instruction book, the Fiat comes with a parts catalogue, two workshop manuals, some photos, and a file of receipts.
