1969 Ford Lincoln MK III Ford 460 taken out to 521 ci ( 8.5L ) & Ford E40D 4 speed with over drive, backed up by the very trusty 9'' Diff. This car has had a full restoration, with everything replaced, rebuilt, refurbished. The motor makes a mountain of torque, It's a Ford Performance Solutions crate motor now trading as Pacific Performance Products. The motor sounds great with a custom set of 4 into 1 ceramic coated headers, and a dual 2 1/2'' mandrel bent system, that sounds like thunder coming down the road, there is also a brake electronic vacuum set up on the car due to the large camshaft, which does not create much low down vacuum. The paint is in perfect condition 9.5 out of 10 and is a Mazda Red colour, this car really pops in the sun, the photos do not do it justice. The scoop on the bonnet is from a Boss 429 mustang and there is a custom set off bonnet pins to hold the bonnet down. The trim was done by Auto-image in Thomastown, with a custom dash set-up with Auto-meter Pro Comp gauges. The centre console is out of a XD falcon. The rims are Showtime Streeters with new tyres, This is a Australian delivers car, so no problems with registration. All the chrome top trim has been clipped into place then urethane to seal it from rusting. The car had a vinyl roof at one stage, but it has been removed and all chrome roof trim has been welded up smoothed out and you really could not tell.. This is one of the longest 2 door cars on the market, the boot would hold 4 bodies no problem, even being a 2 door its still longer than most 4 doors, hence some photos in the booth, we just could not fit it in properly..
