4/73 Torana LJ GTR XU-1 I’ve owned since 1986. It had 87000 miles when I bought it , now 94000. Original engine, gearbox, diff, etc. Engine never been touched. Has original “nibless” rims that came with the car. All the interior is original. It needs a new set of front door cards as the original owner put speakers in years ago and I never got around to fixing that. Retains the original carbs and “dotloc” wing nuts on the air cleaners. Has original owners manual and logbook. Has original AM radio and under dash speaker working. All rego papers since 1986. Has a repro xu1 factory style exhaust from front to back including the muffler. Radiator recored a few months ago. Radiator is also original to the car with the correct date codes. Car has 50+ years of ”patina” i.e. stone chips , minor scratches and normal wear and tear. It’s what is now classified as a “survivor”. Still retains paper tag that was attached to the engine when it was manufactured. How many of these would still exist ? It was a daily driver for the original owner for the first 13 years of its life. If you are looking for a concourse winner, this isn’t the car for you. If you are looking for a 99% correct and original GTR XU-1, with all matching numbers, this might be the one. Car is on club rego, so it will be sold just registered. No time wasters or joyriders.
