Over the last few years my Karmann Ghia has gone through a complete mechanical restoration including all suspension bushes & steering joints, new 4 wheel disc brake conversion,Performance 15x6 alloy wheels made to order to fit the car with Falken 185x15 Ziex tyres.It has a custom built Steering box new C/V joints.Rebuilt Gearbox with H/D kombi 3rd & 4th gears with a higher ratio for Highway cruising. The Engine is a 2lt Kombi type 4 rebuilt with all the best parts for performance & durability.It is fitted with a full flow thermostatically controlled oil cooling system.Vintage Speed full tuned length Stainless Exhaust system & duel Weber carburettors,It is fitted with a Vintage Speed short throw gear change & throttle linkage.The performance of this engine & gearbox combination make it a pleasure to drive. The paint & body work are all in excellent condition with the paintwork having been treated with a full Ceramic coating. The interior has brown carpets with electrically operated Porsche seats coved in soft cream leather.The steering wheel is a Italian Nardi wood rim wheel. All the lighting has been converted to LEDs & the instruments are fully electric including the Speedo. A pair of period Osca driving lights are fitted. When I purchased the vehicle in 2019 it was in excellent condition but very lacking in performance.I have since spent in excess of $25000 dollars on it to make it the car it is today. Unfortunately I have since had a very bad fall damaging my left shoulder making it very difficult to drive a manual car which is the reason I am selling it.
